New website launched

In March we were excited to launch our brand new website. Although we had already begun working on the new site, the old website became so slow that it was unusable, which is just not acceptable when it is a platform for so many people to find help, so we fast tracked this new site.

Here are some of the features of the new site that you might find useful:

Sections for men and women

We know our old site was very male specific, yet porn does not discriminate on gender when it comes to destroying lives so neither will we when it comes to helping to restore them. These sections will include items both by people who have struggled with pornography as well as those who have been affected by another person’s porn use. If you have a story you would like to share or a topic you would like to see covered, please let us know.

An area for parents

At the moment this area of the site includes a number of videos geared towards parents that look at how you can speak to your teens about pornography. Over time we hope to add some book reviews to this section as well.

An area for church leaders

We find that church leaders are looking for resources so that they are better prepared to speak on this topic and find programs that they can run in their communities.

Upcoming events right on the homepage

Now you can see what events we have coming up right around the corner at the bottom of our home page. You will see the first two events come up, then you can use the little arrow buttons to see more.

Easier to view videos

With more and more people turning to video content as a way to receive information, we have used a site that allows you to quickly and easily find a video and watch it without even opening the page of the article.

There are plenty of other great features about the new site, check them out at www.goforgreatness.org and let us know what you think.
